Forty-three years ago, Vicki and I said “I do” and five years later we took our first real adventure together \u2014 a trip to Barbados that set the tone for everything that followed. What started as a belated honeymoon has turned into a lifetime of passport stamps, missed trains, spectacular sunsets, and more cruise ships than we can count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’ve wandered the canals of Amsterdam, hiked Iceland’s otherworldly landscapes, explored ancient ruins along the Mediterranean, and watched the sun set over Sedona’s red rocks with a glass of something cold in hand. We’ve celebrated anniversaries in places we could barely pronounce and toasted New Year’s in time zones we had to look up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This site is our way of holding onto all of it \u2014 the photos, the memories, and the occasional misadventure that makes for a better story later. We’re not travel bloggers or influencers, just two people from Southern Maryland who discovered early on that the best investment you can make is in experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
